PROGRESS
This is what I have completed for my left panel for my Cd package and disc. This photograph relates to what is shown in our music video as it is a visual also shown in my music video.
I thought it was interesting to have the inside of my CD package be different from the front and back cover.
I have edited the image of my advert by brightening the photograph slightly.
I also have changed the colour the font of the text placed at the top of my advert and bottom to brown and blue font as a way of making the text stand out.
However, I will change the font again as the colours look odd and goes against my housestyle of black and white.
I will change the colour of font back to white and make a shadow effect instead to then have the text 'pop' of the page.

progression
This is what I have constructed for my cd disc. I chose to have the disc be graffiti as it again continues with the urban housestyle.
However, I am not happy with the outcome of this disc as I don't think it suit with the CD front and back cover. Eventhough they all show graffiti, this image of graffiti displays colours that isn't shown on my front and back cd cover.
Next lesson I will go through the images I have and see which goes well with the Cd package to then constructed a disc from stratch

PROGRESSION
I have now added the text onto my back cover border - artists name and song title. This continues with the overall housestyle as the Cd front cover is displayed in the same format.
I have also now changed the colour of the font of my text to be all white.
Underneath the text is a barcode - indicate the CD can be purchased in store, along with the company our single belongs to. This is a common feature that is displayed at the back covers near the barcode.
I have played text along the top of the advert. I have also placed our artist website address onto the advert.
For next lesson, I will do something to make the text at the top of the advert stand out more then it does.

CD Spine and Advert Poster Progression
So far this is what I have completed for my spine for my CD package. I chose to have the spine white as it would stand out in between the front and back covers with their black borders. I added text onto the spine that is black so it continues with my print products black and white theme and stands out to be read clearly. I placed the usual information found on a CD Package spines - music company, 9 digit number and the name of the song. This is a convention typically shown on CD package spines
This is what I've done so far for my advertisement poster. The image I've chose, captures my artist and the background very nicely as the background image is slightly shadowed/ out of focus, which then allows our artist to stand out.
I placed my CD front cover at the bottom of the poster to inform the audience what the album looks like. I also placed the logos of the media platforms the songs can be found at - itunes and Soundcloud. The media platforms I chosen to have on my advert are well established companies that can be recgonised without having to have their name shown.
Also these media platforms are frequently used by our songs target audience - 14 - 22year olds.
The date the single comes out is displayed above the logos so the audience is clearly informed. The date is in white as it matches the top my artist is shown wearing.
All that is left for me to complete is the title that will be placed at the top of the image - 'Raye, Bet You Wish'.

Screening Finished Music Video - Feedack - Voice Recording
We showed our completed music video to our class and some teachers from the media department. The feedback given to us regarding our music video was recorded as a voice note.
The feedback we recieve was overall very possitive as members of our class and teachers like the techniques and visuals we included - cutting to the beat, link shot to our lyrics and the performance of our artist alongside the locations she performed at.
The only negetive we recieved was that we could of used our male more within our video as we only use one shot of him. As we were not able to gather enough good/ high quailty images of our male, we only had one shot that was suitable to include.
We were unsure weather or not to include that one shot of our male as initially we wanted him shown throughout. However, by including the one shot of our male still helps to create a narrative for our video.
CD Front & Back Cover Progression
I have now changed the image of my front cover and used this one instead as I think it is more capturing to a audience and is framed well. Around the image I have place a black border with the name of my artist 'Raye' and the title of the song 'Bet You Wish' positioned above and below the image. The colour white as the font suits well with the black border and doesn't clash with the other colours shown in the background in the image.
For the back cover of my CD package I have chosen this image as she is posed in a particular way that shows her looking at the text I displayed the songs that are featured. This works well as it draws the attention to the text straight away.
I may change the pink colour of some of my font as it doesn't appear to be visible to be read. I also may add writing on the black border around the image like I did with the front cover to create a on going theme.

CD Front Cover Progression
I have now started to create my CD packaging. This is what I've completed so far in today's lesson. I chose to use white as the font colour as the image used displays a lot of bright colours. As white is a simple, neutral colour - this then doesn't allow the image to clash regarding colour schemes. The top my artist is shown wearing is white, so matches with the colour of the title.
I also created a black border around the image to make the CD front cover look like it is placed in a frame.
However, for the CD front cover I may shift the image slightly more to the right as my artists arm is slightly cut off as a result of the border. I may also change the image I've chosen as the front cover as I have more images that I think would look more effective as a front cover as they display more emotion from her facial expression.
I will be continuing with the black border and white font colour scheme for the CD Back also.
Photographs for CD Package
From all the photographs taken for our print products, I have gone through the images and categorised then into what I think look suitable for a CD front cover, back cover, disc and advert.

CD Pitch & Feedback
Our class liked that we already had our photographs for our print products as we took these images on the same day of our music video shoot.
Our class also liked that we will be only using location shots for our print products as that continues our house style and links with visuals shown in our music video.
As we didn't include any studio shoots in our music video, we then didn't think it was necessary to have our print products photographs taken in a studio.
We are now ready to start constructing our print products.
